Start At The Beginning

Just like all great literature, it's best to start at the beginning.
My beginning starts in a small area in England, where I was born a little over 18 years ago. I believe myself to be rather quirky and optimistic and have a passion for writing, music and helping others. Now there are many other details to give about myself, my background etc but who really wants to read all that? We all want to read something exhilarating or entertaining or heartbreaking, something that relates to us and our own life.
Therefore, my beginning starts with my "epiphany". Basically the realisation that i wanna do more with my life than get drunk, work full time at a temporary job and then spend my spare time sleeping my life away. I'm not at university and in all honesty, i have no intention of going and am still undecided about my career path. I needed something to make me feel a little better due to the fact that I have no idea about what i want to do for the rest of my life even though i had been forced to make a decision and shape a career path throughout my entire education and ultimately failed. Ha ha. So I decided to start up my favourite hobby again: reading. The book I decided to read was Two by Two by Nicholas Sparks. It's most definitely a book i would recommend! It's about a man, Russell Green, who begins his own company whilst learning how to be a proper father and look after his young daughter by himself. Such a great read. It made me realise that I've spent so many months telling myself that i have no idea what i want to do but i want to do something with my life but i never actually attempted to make any changes. So after reading this book, i decided that it was time to make a change and look for something that i want to do. Hence, the beginning of my first blog! It's something I've wanted to do since i was around 12 but i never knew what to post and when i did make a blog I was so afraid of being criticised that i deleted it the next day. The downfalls of being young, letting others opinions dictate your choices. However, i realise that its something i really want to do and after reading others blogs, eventually came to the decision to give it another go. So thank you to Nicholas Sparks and all you young writers out there for the inspiration to do this.
To summarise, this blog will mostly be about finding my way through life, problems encountered, experiences both good and bad, feelings, people I've met, and trying to find what i want to do for the rest of my life. A blog displaying me as I'm On My Way to begin my life. Wish me luck.
